I was introduced to “The Rosary” when my mom rescued an old copy of this book from a neighbor’s yard sale!
Perhaps I am getting too modern in my sensibilities. Sometimes characters in books are doing things just because it is needed for a plot and one sees their actions don’t fit to their personalities. I wouldn’t have minded the predictably of the story if there had been more levity in the novel. So sweet, so tender, simply precious.
